Dear Race Participants:
Take a deep breath. Breathe in all the beauty around you as many thoughts come to mind: across the country, Run for the Toad’s reputation as a race is growing. Monumental occasions don't happen every day. But this year marks a special milestone for trail racing in Canada. Over 1000 participants will take their position on the start line at the 7th annual Run for the Toad, October 4, 2008 at Pinehurst Lake Conservation Area. As race directors we have introduced many changes over the past 7 year history and we are proud to say Run for the Toad is stronger and better than ever.
It's easy to see the big changes at this year's Toad. Catching all the action within Tent City's borders, that is sure to top the list. This year's race offers everything you asked for with the added consideration for all family members and friends joining you on race day.
We may have a new look, but our original commitment to quality and integrity will always be evident in every race we host.
